TOM'S CHANGED KATIE SO MUCH: SHE'S LOST WEIGHT AND GOT A NEW STYLE - NOW SHE LOOKS LIKE HIS DREAM WIFE
Katie has spent about $1 million on clothes since the start of her romance with Tom, says a pal. She's also dropped almost 40 pounds since Suri was born. "I'm being sensible," Katie tells In Touch. "Eating healthy, working out, keeping it fun." Her new size-2 figure also makes shopping more fun. "She loves playing dress-up," says her friend Andrea Bernholtz, president and co-founder of the clothing line Rock & Republic. "Marrying Tom makes Katie Hollywood royalty," says an insider. "Her look must reflect that."
KATIE'S INSPIRITION
While she was in France, Katie continued her style education by purchasing a copy of Chic In Paris, a book of fashion secrets and insider shopping tips from the City of Light's most fashionable women. The little red book, by Susan Tabak, offers some interesting advice:
- - Never dress from head to toe in the same designer.
- - Don't wear something trendy if it doesn't suit you.
- - Create a dewy complexion by spritzing your face with Evian.
- - Brush your teeth standing on tiptoe to give your buttocks a workout.
STEAL THAT STYLE!
DEBRA SPOTS A HOT FALL TREND
Stylish stars like Debra Missing know that a little bit of animal print goes a long way, and that's why they're comfining bold leopard and cheetah looks to just a few accent pieces or accessories. "With big-cat prints, it's important that the rest of the outfit has simple lines, without any fussy details," says Susan Tabak, personal shopper and author of Chic In Paris. For sleek style, pair feline-inspired accents with an all-black ensemble or dark tailored jeans for a style that's up-to-date and sexy without being too wild.
