Popular Paris Fashion Shows
From New York to Paris, London and Milan there are many fabulous
international destinations to discover fashion in its freshest form.
Fashion shows are an incredible opportunity to witness the
collaboration of art, design, and dreams in a way that will surely
alter your personal style and build a new appreciation for fashion.
However, given the multitude of international options, in my opinion
all others seem to pale in comparison to the captivating and
incredibly popular Paris fashion shows.
Every year I travel to Paris on numerous occasions to experience the
fashion shows that magically create dreams. My last visit to the City
of Light was in October for the Pret-a-Porter shows, and although
extremely hectic, I was still able to see all of my favorite designers
and attend the most glamorous parties.
Paris fashion week is always
very busy with international fashion lovers fighting to get seats to
the most exclusive exhibits. Of these, the most popular and famously
French shows include; Chritian Dior, which gathers a chicly
fashionable crowd, Yves Saint Laurent, who’s designer Stefano Pilati
always creates the most lovely tailored looks, Chanel, which is an
amazing display of gorgeously updated classics, and Louis Vuitton,
which is a celebrity packed event that always delivers trend-setting
styles. Of course, my personal favorite Paris fashion show is Lanvin,
for which I am a self-proclaimed poster child. Always exciting,
Alber’s collections are the highlight of my week. Whether it is bright
and bold colors, structured silhouettes, or edgy and fun detailing,
Lanvin always brings something new to each season.
As Paris Haute Couture fashion week quickly approaches, I anticipate
the upcoming shows and socializing with my Parisian friends as we
experience the breathtaking creations and extravagant designs. As much
as Paris is popular for its fashion, it is Paris Haute Couture shows,
which combines history, exclusivity, and a labor of love commitment,
that take the cake as an absolute must see event.
